About the Artist
I’m Julia Ann (pronounced Jul-yan). It’s a double name with a Southern dialect so it’s kinda like one name. I’m a professionally trained portrait artist and pet lover, originally from Montgomery, Alabama.
With over fifteen years of experience, I received schooling at Rhode Island School of Design, Auburn University (where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts), and trained one-on-one with instructors from New York Academy of Art.
In 2017, I moved to Oakland, California where I currently live and work out of a 500-square-foot backyard cottage with my dog, Hank. I sell portraits all over the country and would love to work with you, wherever you are!
